In the Peccia valley, in the southern of Switzerland, at an altitude of 1200 m A.M.S.L., the Cristallina marble quarry with its 9 marble qualities has been operating since 1946 - the only one in Switzerland.
Since 2010 the quarry is part of the Maurino Family group of companies, which has been extracting granite from 7 quarries in Switzerland since 1894.
